Data protection
House rules for our vacation apartments
Dear guest, in order to make your stay and that of the other guests as pleasant as possible, we ask you to observe the following house rules:
1. arrival and departure: •Check-in: from 15:00 • Check-out: until 11:00 • Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged on request and subject to availability.
2. rest periods: • Please observe the quiet times between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. • We ask you to be considerate of other guests and neighbors, especially on the terrace and balcony
3. smoking: • Our apartments are smoke-free, this also applies to e-cigarettes. Smoking is only permitted on the balcony, terrace or outside. Please dispose of your cigarette butts in an environmentally friendly manner in the ashtrays provided.
4. pets: • Pets are permitted on request. An additional cleaning fee of €20 per stay will be charged.
5. smoke detectors: • Each room has a smoke detector. When preparing your food in the kitchen, please note that smoke could set it off.
6. kitchen and waste separation: • Please feel free to use the kitchen, but leave it in a clean condition. • We ask you to separate waste (paper, sales packaging and plastic, glass, residual waste). The appropriate bins are available in the garage.
7. equipment and furnishings: • We provide you with a lovingly furnished apartment and ask you to treat the equipment with care. • If anything is damaged, please let us know so that we can replace it as soon as possible.
8 Visitors: • Visitors are of course allowed. Additional persons are not allowed to stay overnight unless they have been specified at the time of booking.
9. windows and doors: • The house and apartment doors can be opened with a numerical code provided. Please keep this information in a safe place. • Please close all windows and the apartment door carefully when leaving the apartment.
10. slippers: • The floor of the apartment is not heated. To protect the wooden floors and increase your comfort, we are happy to provide slippers in various sizes.
11. garage: •The garage contains part of the building services, which must not be tampered with under any circumstances. • If you are traveling with an electric or hybrid car, we ask for your understanding that charging via our household sockets is not permitted • The garage is accessible to all apartment guests and can be used as a bicycle parking space. Therefore, please always lock your car and bicycles in the garage.
12. dealing with neighbors: • Please behave considerately and respect the privacy of other guests and neighbors.
13. emergencies and contact persons: • In emergencies or if you have any questions, we are always at your disposal. You can find our contact details in our guest folder.

General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the booking and use of the vacation apartments “Beim Schmied” 1 Scope of application 1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between the tenant (hereinafter referred to as the “Guest”) and the provider of the vacation apartments “Beim Schmied” (hereinafter referred to as the “Landlord”) for the use of the vacation apartments offered on the website. 1.2 Deviating terms and conditions of the guest shall not apply unless the landlord expressly agrees to them in writing. 2 Conclusion of contract 2.1 A booking shall be deemed binding as soon as the Landlord has confirmed the booking in writing (by e-mail or booking confirmation via the website). 2.2 The guest is obliged to check that the booking details are correct and to inform the landlord immediately in the event of any discrepancies. 3. terms of payment 3.1 After receipt of the booking confirmation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount must be paid within 5 days. The remaining amount is to be paid at the latest days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. 3.2 For bookings made at short notice (less than 7 days before arrival), the entire rental amount is due immediately. 3.3 Accepted payment methods are [PayPal, bank transfer]. 4 Cancellation and withdrawal 4.1 Cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail or letter. 4.2 The following cancellation conditions apply: - Up to 30 days before arrival: free of charge - 29 to 15 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount. - From 14 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100 % of the total amount. 4.3 The landlord shall endeavor to rent the vacation apartment to another tenant in order to reduce the cancellation costs. 5 Arrival and departure 5.1 The vacation apartment is available to the guest from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. 5.2 A different arrival or departure time is possible by prior arrangement. 5.3 In the event of late departure, the landlord reserves the right to charge additional costs. 6 Use of the vacation apartment 6.1 The vacation apartment may only be used by the number of persons specified in the contract. 6.2 The guest undertakes to treat the vacation apartment with care and to report any damage to the landlord immediately. 6.3 Smoking in the vacation apartment is prohibited. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement. 7 Liability of the guest 7.1 The guest is liable for all damage to the vacation apartment or the inventory caused during his stay, insofar as this has been caused by him, fellow travelers or visitors. 7.2 The landlord accepts no liability for the guest's valuables. 8 Liability of the landlord 8.1 The landlord is not liable for short-term breakdowns of facilities (e.g. WLAN, heating) due to force majeure or unavoidable events. 8.2 The landlord shall only be liable for slight negligence in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations. 9. data protection 9.1 The landlord processes personal data of the guest exclusively within the framework of the applicable data protection laws. 9.2 Further information on data processing can be found in our [Privacy Policy]. 10 Final provisions 10.1 Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. 10.2 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. 10.3 The place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from this contract is the registered office of the lessor.
